Strategic Buyout Program Community Meeting

The Town of Belhaven invites residents to an information session to learn more about the Strategic Buyout Program, a voluntary program that purchases properties at risk of repeated flooding due to natural disasters.

The Strategic Buyout Program partners with local governments to buy properties at risk of storm damage and flooding from property owners who voluntarily choose to participate. In doing so, the program provides participants with an opportunity to relocate to safer areas.
