Local Government 101 Workshop

Have you ever wondered why things happen the way they do in government?  Now is your opportunity to better understanding how local government operates. 

Beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 16th prior to the Town Council meeting the Town Manager will present a public workshop. The Town Manager will share information about the make-up of local government, the rules that govern the town, and North Carolina General Statutes. This is the first of what will become a monthly series to help educate citizens about local government affairs. 

These workshops will be held monthly with different topics starting at 5PM before the regular Town Council meetings. The public is invited to attend.
